Frosty Frenemy: The Five Reasons I Hate Snow
Ah, snow. Some people see it as this magical, pristine white blanket straight out of a Hallmark movie. Not me. Snow and I have… issues. Sure, it’s beautiful when it’s falling, and I’ll admit, snow on Christmas morning gives me all the warm, fuzzy feelings. But let’s be real — when snow shows up on Mother’s Day? That’s when I draw the line. Before you label me a snow grinch, hear me out. I’ve got five very solid (and mildly dramatic) reasons why snow is less winter wonderland and more frozen frenemy.
1. Snow Ruins Plans
Have you ever tried to keep a schedule during a snowstorm? Forget it. Roads turn into icy slip ‘n slides, your car looks like it belongs to an Arctic expedition, and a quick coffee run suddenly requires full winter survival gear. Spontaneity? Ha! Unless you count spontaneously sliding into a ditch. (Which, interestingly enough, we were just recently there.)
2. Shoveling Is Nature’s Gym Membership
Let’s talk shoveling. Who actually enjoys hauling 40 pounds of freezing slush? And just when you finish clearing the driveway — feeling accomplished, sweaty, and slightly frostbitten — guess what?
